The installation process for snap-lock metal roofing is similar to standing seam metal roofing, with one exception: the interlocking panels are snapped together with a pre-manufactured locking system instead of being mechanically crimped together. Here’s a basic installation guide:
- Install the underlayment
- Install a drip edge
- Lay a starter strip to lock in the first panel
- Place the first panel square with the starter strip
- Fasten the panel
- Snap the next panel into the first
- Fasten the second panel
- Repeat!
